Coffe mug (or tea cup)

I'll start you off with mine.

"Guns don't kill people I kill people"

This was gven to me by my boss when the cleaner (I suspect) broke my Everton mug from the FA cup final 1984.

BTW I am not a homicidal maniac, quite the opposite, in fact you could say I am pathological pacifist. my bosses attempt at Irony - I don't mind though Happy Gilmore was hilarious ;)

At work/in offices it often is. It depends how distinctive the company mugs are ;) (I'm in the UK)

Don't you have a favourite mug JonB? :)

"The world's worst golfer"

Given to me by my playing partner after a particularly bad round when the golf ball found every lake on the course.

"Guess the secret ingredient" - One of my colleugues bought me it, she always makes me a drink.

"is it custom in USA or britain to have your "special coffe/tea" mug" - You can never take risks with germs. We all have our own mugs in our office. :)

I also have an Everton Mug.

Says something along the lines of: Capacity of Goodison Park : 40,017 of these.

And there is a picture of a Blue Heart.

It's 'stirring' stuff! Boom Boom!

Mine just says New York (guess where I bought it?).

It holds over half a litre (about a pint) of coffee and is thermal, so it keeps it warm for me!

Is that the capacity of Goodison Park minus the standard away fans allocation ;)?

The topic of having your own coffee or tea mug might be a british eccentricity but It makes it easier to remeber whose tea/coffee is who's.

and nobody takes my mug - or I'll kill 'em!

My favourite mug has music and elephants printed on it. It was given to me by some of my last year of students when I was lecturing at Uni. Still has pride of place on my desk.

<sigh - thems was the days>

Nope. I think it assumes there are no away fans. Like when we play Fulham. ;)

"I get enough exercise just pushing my luck"

My wife purchased this mug for me when I started my business last year because I'm always sitting at my computer and taking business risks that she would never do.

If it wasn't for good revenue, I'm sure I would receive another mug, titled "Loser - I knew I was right!" WFN
