Coffe mug (or tea cup)

I'll start you off with mine.

"Guns don't kill people I kill people"

This was gven to me by my boss when the cleaner (I suspect) broke my Everton mug from the FA cup final 1984.

BTW I am not a homicidal maniac, quite the opposite, in fact you could say I am pathological pacifist. my bosses attempt at Irony - I don't mind though Happy Gilmore was hilarious ;)

Any brits remember the Mr Men?

I may not be a Brit, but I used to have a little Mr. Rush toy figure...

I keep two mugs at the office, and they're both pretty old: One carries the slogan "Dell Computer Corporation -- When you talk, we listen" along with what appear to be various editorial quotes touting the "System 325." Which was a 25-mHz 80386 desktop system. So that mug's a little older than the other one, which is black with a light blue Metromedia logo, from back when it was "Metromedia", before the shakeups, reorganizations, and bankruptcies.

I didn't check all but I did check those I couldn't figure.
But this thread seems to be a man's thing.

Why? Females don't have a favorite mug or are they
too classy, and change cups everyday?

Just wondering.

No answer? Then I'll just continue working on this new page.

People in my house know what kind of mood i'm in by the coffee cup I have in my hand...
"Super Bitch, Feeling Lucky, Make my Day"
That one was given to me by an ex way back when he mentioned I spent too much time outdoors camping.
Hmm wonder if he is still alive..:)
My usual coffee mug is more sedate
"Don't Just Think Outside the Box, Work There"
Given to me by my kids who have always thought I was a bit strange and a free thinker.
Too bad they can't just make coffee attach to an IV pole..

Hmm for cold beverages: a Wilderness Lodge insulated mug from DisneyWorld... it's about 8 years old now... still looks good.

For hot: a tall cobalt blue ceramic job - I like the color, and it holds heat. But I also have a smaller black mug with Mickey Mouse icons all over it, hmmm, there's another Disney one with remember the past, celebrate the future written on it... Somehow when we vacation at WDW a mug or cup always seems to find it's way home with us... (yes, there are several others....) :)

All these Disney mugs are making me jealous ;)

My other well-used coffee mug says "The Many Moods of Minnie" with various pictures and poses of Minnie Mouse in moods from pretty darn happy down to having a complete and utter meltdown.

Also, an NPR Morning Edition mug signed by Bob Edwards with the note "Wishing you no bad hops" (no, not beer related--he found out I played shortstop on a coed softball team).

Funny, my first thought on "bad hops" was one of those routers that shows up all asterisks on a traceroute.

Lost my Morning Edition mug when it fell off a dresser in my dorm room a few years ago. Now I alternate between a latte mug with my old college NPR station's logo, the Google Dilbert mug, and a "tea cup" that holds about half a liter and has a saucer so big my wife keeps putting it away with the plates.
