Well, the tickets arrived yesterday and I'm just dying to get there. I've not been to the States in a few years and have never been to Boston. I hear it's a cool place.

Last year at the London Pubcon [showcase.netins.net] I learnt so much in 2 days that I just couldn't miss Pubcon 4 in Boston [semconf.com]. The depth, and the concentration of knowledge combined with the informal 'sharing' that must be unique to pubcon is truly awe inspiring.

I'm not quite the millionaire I'd like to be with my new found knowledge and friends but, I'm definately a BIG step further towards it.

So, if you went to the other Pubcons or this one is your first time, share your thoughts and make those not attending jealous ;)

I know, it's coming up so fast! A few predections...

6:45 PM Friday - The time I suspect I'll be seriously regretting not getting there earlier and not leaving later. (I arrive Fri afternoon, leave Sunday morning)

8:30 AM Sat - loud curses eminating from my room as I stumble into the shower following my wake up call.

3:30 PM Sat- feeling fine again and wishing I was staying until Monday

12:30 AM Sun - no comment

7:30 AM Sun - see 8:30 AM Sat

10:00 AM Sun - Sitting on plane and vowing to save my money so I can go to PubCon V in London.... :)

and checking out what geek girls look like

LOL ~ well this geek girl is definitely anything but geeky!

I am actually quite interested to see how many women will be there as actual attendees (wives coming to PubConf for the Boston shopping not included!)

Well, you guys have been busy while I've slept!

>affiliate meet
Well, that sounds cool. I'll sticky everyone over the weekend so we can all keep in touch and make arrangments. I like the durgin idea but BT's right I think and it's more accessible for those coming on a budget. Anyway, you'll all hear from me shortly...

>geek girls
Yep, there were quite a few 'non wifey' woman last year and a few wives with interest in pubcon, mine included.

Ivana was inspired last year and is looking forward to this one as much as I am ;)

Geeky and shopping are not mutually exclusive :) There will be at least one well dressed woman in three inch heels, shopping bags in hand, with a propensity towards SEO. Tell me there are others out there!

Ah vacation, can't describe the feeling :)

>>Baaastun

Hehe that was very very funny, mostly because you don't understand what the word means in a different language :)

Shopping in NYC first, then off to Boston.
See ya soon.
And don't forget

I think this GG will have to go with the propeller hat, I won't give the GBs the pleasure of seeing me trip and fall in heels.

3 inch, 5 inch heels?!?! You all are gonna have to show me you do it....

They said jaguar... I prefer the term "leopard print". ;)

My PowerBook is too old and feeble for me to be 'down wi' dat' Jaguar stuff, so why pretend? hehe
