I unexpectedly had to come east to D.C. An old friend is gravely ill. Not only that, I'm snowed in. 25 inches here in Bethesda Md. My rental car is buried.

Now I remember why I live in California.

did you guys hear about the poor town in east canada whos river flooded, and then froze? so fast people didnt even have time to drive away.

very. scary.

[ctv.ca...]

those pictures arent of cars almost covered in snow, they are cars under a meter of frozen water....

guess they have to wait till spring.

Oh ouch... that's the worst I've heard yet. No digging your driveway out of that.

>> We got pizza at Village Pizza at City Center in Montpeilier.

linkshark - you were a stone's throw away - might have even passed you on the street as I ran errands. :)

Temp dropped down to -20 give or take on Sat and Sun evenings. Makes the current teens and twenties seem rather balmy. But we got pitiful leftovers from THE storm of the year.

We got 40 inches at 7 Springs Pa. The skiing was phenomenal and I was snowed in Monday and Tuesday at the resort. It was awesome except for sleeping in the car the night of the blizard. A little adventure never hurt.

Yeah, Good pizza there. I Lovermont, the camp's a bit primitive, but that's the draw. primitive = peaceful

Next time I'm goin' I'll look you up. Probably turkey season.

I got to get a snow mobile for up there.

Uhhh? or down here :-)
