Hope you do not mind me disturbing the peace in here, but its a bit noisy and crowded over in the Google Arena.

some young chap called GoogleGuy and lots of screaming people shouting Me TOO.

A nice cup of Tea with some Rich Tea biscuits will do me nicely.

PEACE................

No Typhoo or Tetley?

In my experience, Tetley is the low-grade stuff you get on airlines or fast-food restaurants. Presumably they have a line of better stuff? As for Typhoo, I've never tried it, but there are a couple shrink-wrapped boxes of it in the kitchen waiting for me to try. My mother found them some place and sent them to me.

>>currant scones and shortbread with some gunpowder tea.

Scones and shortbread sound great, but my first experience with gunpowder tea went something like this:

"Wow, look how tightly all this is rolled up. Wonder how much we should use."

"Let's throw in a couple of handfuls."

"Sounds good."

I'd never seen tea lift the cover of the pot before. Needless to say it was like Ricky and Fred cooking rice.

You just can't trust any of us on this side of the pond with anything that dangerous.

<added>By the way, is Google going to do an update sometime soon?</added>

Well this evening consists of some really sweet stuff called Jalebi [sanjeevkapoor.com],

they go down an absolute treat with a cup of tea.

feel free to pull up a chair and talk about the good old days, when the closest thing to next door was looking to see if the Yahoo Editor had bothered to review your site, and if so, did he/she/it completely manage to @#/> up the keyword loaded description.

It's still rather warm here, so iced tea [store3.yimg.com] will be served on the lanai this afternoon.

I don't know why they think I'm crazy, because you can clearly see that I don't have any screws loose [hawkgirl.com] in my head.

Time to kick back with a glass of wine.

Nope. Those look pretty tight to me. (Do metal detector wands go off when they scan your head at the airport?)

Dear all,

I was just taking a sip of tea myself when I stumbled across your little discussion.

I've heard something about a Goggle Dance going on and asked Jeeves to look into it for me. He came back non-the-wiser, I think he's about due for retirement - old chap can't seem to find anything.

What I have noticed, is that every time there's one of these Goggle dances, my ancestral home site remains exactly where I last found it.

Now there's nothing exciting about that at all.

So I'll continue with my SLURPS and stop worrying about these boring old SERPs.

p.s. wouldn't be surprised if one of those moderators came along and edited my post - "it's Google, not Goggle" etc. Some of them - not all - have had one of those bypasses of the humour variety.

<edit> as, it would seem, have I!>

Someone mentioned Joan of Arc in another thread, and that reminded me... hmm, I haven't got Honegger, but then there's that canu.. erh canadian... Cohen, yes... his own version or Jennifer Warnes'? I'll take them both, I think... ahhh, lovely....
