oh no -another week of searching hundrends of pagesfor some strange gizmo tha that will be guesses in 10 minutes...have to do better this time.

as i see NASA is real source of gizmos.next time maybe we all go to nasa for answers first.:)

I would say tbear ought to win, as his url gave the answers. In the early gizmo quizzes, it was very common for people (myself included) to post a URL containing the answers as their own answer...

And the original post did not say a URL would NOT be accepted...

Once tbear posted his URL, nobody else had to do any searching, so that effectively ended the competition.

hm..after reading mivox comment. defjanos, it is still time if you want decide otherwise although it is nice to win. it is ok with me - I answered since i know from past quizes that url was not enough.once we "allow" all the shortcuts things can get "out of hand" and who will guess what is wrong and what is right.:) i agree that it msut be answered like gizmo originator asks. But i dont set the gizmo rules,macguru is the king i belive - but then we need to set concrete rules for next time.i dont want to be responsible for tbear beeing found drunk after 2 weeks somehwere in mexico,repeating"jonb,defjanon,jonb,defjanos..i was so close.." with tattoo on his behind and new wife called "Jose Garcia" which he doent rememebr marrying :)

Also took into account that tbear, actually was the only one that mentioned "ultrasonic leak detector", and not just long-range leak detector.

These Gizmo Quiz decisions are way too tough - will definetely need some cervezas tonight.... well, I already started :)

Note to future Quiz Hosts: make sure your quiz specifies what form you want the answer to appear in... will a URL be accepted, or must the winner have written the answer in their own words on the board for it to count?
