I made a simple trick: changed a style of second element (splitting this ad in 3 parts), in order it to be extraordinary significiant. Now scheme looks like
o O o o
This means "O" ad is red, and "o" ads are gray.
What are your opinions about this trick? :)
Code ModificationAny AdSense ad code or search box code must be pasted directly into Web pages without modification. AdSense participants are not allowed to alter any portion of the ad code or change the layout, behavior, targeting, or delivery of ads for any reason.
What are your opinions about this trick?
You couldn't even pay me to try that. Not only are you calling attention to the ads, you're calling attention to a specific ad in a specific block.
We'll be seeing you in the "I don't know WHY google suspended my account because I didn't do anything wrong and now they're just cheating me out of my money" forum any day now....
If so, I'm not so sure that this is a violation, although I wouldn't try it without preapproval from Google. ;)
But on re-reading the post, it sure sounds like he is modifying the leaderboard. :(

You’re on the right track unless you modified the codes.
How would you do this without modifying the codes?
This person makes mention of one leaderboard, which contains 4 ads. By adding style and breaking the ad up - not sure how this is done and don't wanna know - she has changed the color of a single ad:
(splitting this [leaderboard] ad in 3 parts)
Those o's aren't separate ad blocks. They represent a leaderboard that's been cut up.
o O o o
"O" is now red as opposed to the other 3 gray.
Fortunately I didn't have any problem understanding this post as it was written and again, this is SO much a violation of terms it's not even funny.
By all means let us know how it goes...
If I understand correctly he has two single ad units followed by a double ad unit, and he's varied the colours.
If changing colours between different ad units is against TOS please let me know. I do a good line in bright yellow ads at the bottom of my page.
I see sailorjwd has twigged.
What problem do people have with this suggestion?
Quite simply because the original post is not evidently clear as to what he has done:
Imagine having a leaderboard on the top of page
It would have been better to have said "Create a leaderboard style ad using two single and one double ads".
If this is not what he had done, or something similar, then he is contravening the T&Cs/TOS by altering the Adsense code.
That is why it has made some people jumpy...altering Adsense code will get you booted.
However, as others have posted here subsequently this has opened my mind to other possibilities - it had never occurred to me to perhaps put 2 adblocks in place of a leaderboard and vary the colours. Interesting stuff - and again I apologise if I jumped the gun...
What does twigged mean?
twigged v. (twiged) 1) To insert botanical appendages through one's nasal membrane in the hopes of becoming socially acceptable.
Better than cocaine I guess...
For a reason i thought you can't use the same layout ad twice on one page, i mean a single page con not contain two leaderboards, am i wrong?
Wrong...this only applies to Adlinks. Many sites have 3 identical ads, one in the header, one in the body of their text and one in their footer area...
