Got quite a surprise this morning

I made over $100 yesterday!

For the first time EVER I hit $112 yesterday! My highest days before that were in the $80's, with my average being about $50.

It was quite a shock to wake up and check Google to see I had graduated to my very first 3-digit day.

Almost spit my coffee at the monitor. :-)

Here's hoping for more of the same!

Congrats Mom!

Now start sweating over $200/day - I'm trying to break THAT hurdle and Google's being highly uncooperative. I'll be sitting here close to midnight counting it down.... $187, $189, $191..... then screaming and yelling, waking everyone one up when it hits $0 and starts counting for tomorrow.

YesMom,

Congratulations also! I get one day over $100 this month and i bought my friend a dinner and some beers. BUT, the revenue goes back the same the next day. So i guess it was just a new advertiser spending unwisely on that day. :<

At least your getting cash going up in dollers and not 0.20c :)

How long did it take you to get there?

Heavens...I remember THOSE days when every day was $100+ then along came 05/05/05 and the Google that gave, took away, never for them to return ever again...take it whilst you can YesMom since Google will do the dirty on you one day and you'll be left wondering just what the hell you did wrong...and the answer most probably will be nothing!

Every milestone reached is just as exciting as that first $100. Wait till you get to that $1000/day threshold. I haven't reached it yet but it's well within sight.

That's a pretty happy post YesMom and I have to say that I'm happy for you as well. I like happy posts. I vote there be more of them in the future... I broke the c-note barrier last year and have come tantalizingly close to the "2 bill day" a number of times but as yet it's out of reach. That's okay with me though. I'm not overly ambitious and I like what I'm seeing and have liked it from the start and enjoy hearing about other people making good and taking it to new heights....

Congrats again and I suppose drinks are on you eh?

May it be an exponential growth as long as lets you sleep at night. I'm like incredibill most days, counting, checking half an hour but that's not something healthy umh!

If people try and keep ahead of the game and work smart rather than hard they can avoid this scenario.

This is true, but even in this case, G will still be the best way to convert traffic into money for content sites and that's why we keep at it even though we are continuingly complaining. The power is justification enough to operate in any way they like.

Congratulations, YesMom!

I also broke 100 this very minute! No, not my earnings, but the number of posts I've made in this forum. (LOL)

If people try and keep ahead of the game and work smart rather than hard they can avoid this scenario.

And since when did you become the arbiter of what is right or wrong, correct or incorrect, what is smart and what is not?

Fortunately you wrote "try" and did not leave yourself for an onslaught by me.

As clever as you, and many others may think they may possibly be, there are many inconsistencies in this program which can leave you out to hang dry.

It has been written in these forums many times...do not RELY on Adsense for an income.

It will bite you eventually.

It is the same as betting, there are very, very few winners and lots of "what if's" but at the end of the day only one overall profit maker...!

Maybe you should try developing it. It might pass $100/day :)

Congrats YesMom.

Don't worry about the doom and gloom posts, we always have a few of those here. The advice not to rely 100% on AdSense is good however.

Your long term is probably good as long as you start to diversify. Now is not a bad time to start working on another site in another niche/market.

You might also at this point want to start looking at alternatives to AdSense - quite a lot of advertisers will start contacting you about now. There is more money to be made elsewhere if you want to put a little effort in.
