It was quite a shock to wake up and check Google to see I had graduated to my very first 3-digit day.
Almost spit my coffee at the monitor. :-)
Here's hoping for more of the same!
How long did it take you to get there?

I started in January... the big site I had was pretty well established so I was making $10 a day immediately. Then when I found out how to optimize the look, feel and placement of ads I went up to about $30 a day right away.
I've been tweaking slowly ever since, but so many variables are out of my hands.
I work hard to maintain and/or increase traffic. I'm just (thankfully) getting more EPC right now.
So about 6 months to my first "over the top" day. :-)
What page CTR do you have?
Boy... that is a tough one. On over 2,000 pages it can vary to as little as .1% and go as high as that funny 300%! Probably majority of pages are in the 1 - 2% range (that I can't bring myself to cut, because it is still a good chunk of revenue!) up to the 25% - 30% range on main landing page where I direct AdWords. This landing page is where I optimize most carefully with the "hot spot" and making the ads look blended, attractive, and asthetically pleasing. But they do stand out from my content.
BTW -- looks like my EPC is settling down a bit. Maybe I had that big day because a few top advertisers were in a bidding war? Probably. But I'm still very happy... I should have more and more $100+ days. It is 10 pm and I'm over $60 anyway. I am not complaining! June will finish up nicely. Pays the rent on my physical storefront... and I can send hubby to Home Depot to purchase some hardwood flooring to finish the upstairs of our home. He's quite happy about my endeavors. I rarely hear him complain about me "sitting on the computer" these days. ;-)
