Probably you already considered the following, however keep in mind:
1. The Adsense earning is not always rising, be prepared for that.
2. Do not forget affiliate programs; try to identify tuned product(s) or service(s).
3. More websites/more pages/more content.
4. Every few weeks visit the “real” world to search for new ideas.
Good Luck!
This is implicit with my AdSense style.
I visit fairs and companies with interesting products.
Since last monday, I have even a press card.
No money for private expenses like holidays with my family? AdSense makes a business journey out of it.
I did it a year ago and, yes, I'm so happy as I could supose to be.
Also, prepare yourself to be considered as lazy-sleeping-all-day guy and to receive friendly advices like get a real job ;-)
I'm excited by the possibilities AdSense has to offer. My own income has tripled in 2 1/2 years since the program started.
I really have to thank this site and the mods as well as all the regular posters for a large part of this success. You guys made it easier to achieve.
How much would it end up costing in taxes/insurance/homebased buisness crud if you were to start doing this fulltime? is there somekind of established form i need to sign to legally let the government know that i am now self employeed in this way?
thanks
Does having other affiliate programs on your pages lead to loss of rankings in SERPs? I have read so in some post in the Adsense forum.. that Google may consider them doorway pages.
To the original poster,
Congrats. I have done the same, and enjoying my life. One advice - try for natural linking from others to your site as much as posible. Much better and safer than active link exchanges.
And just when I was about to pack things up, I discovered Adsense. Things have changed for the better since then. Now all my friends want to have a website too, so they can quit the 9-5 routine just like me. Moral of the story: there's life after early retirement. So here's a toast to Kwongwo's future success!
If AdSense is the only form of revenue generation from your site, then I highly suggest you explore other exploits as suggested above and NEVER think for even a second that it can't come to a crashing halt - it has happened to more than one honest person out there, and as per the terms and conditions of the AdSense program, you will have little recourse.
Also, your success is based on Googles, so keep an eye on their company portfolio and stock performance... at the first sign of trouble on their end, it's time to write up your CV (Resume) and be prepared to get back into the labor force.
Hoping you have better luck with AdSense than I did!
