EFT available

New payment options are available in my account. Besides std. check payment there's also expedited check ($29 fee) and Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT, marked as BETA). Anyone else seen this?

I'm pleased! Hopefully this will take effect for payments of February earnings.

I'm in the UK, and the EFT option is available to me. Offering to pay cheques and EFT in GBP too.

As for February's earnings, from the 'learn more' page: "To help us test this new feature, sign up for EFT payments by following the directions below. Your payment type selection will apply to your payment for March earnings; February earnings will still be paid in March with US dollar checks for all qualifying publishers."

After you've inputted your bank details there is no way to check they are correct. I inputted them incorrectly the first time - and when I went to edit them I just had a blank form again.

The EFT is available to publishers in 15 countries.

oh yes. This is good news. I'm in the UK - took me 2 seconds to set up electronic transfer. Lets hope it works ok.

We also offer checks in local currency to publishers in 43 countries. If your country is not listed for either EFT or local currency checks, we will pay you with US dollar checks.

New interface looks very similar to Adwords account. Also no EFT for me neither, only Secured Express Delivery :(

I started reading this thread and thought my prayers had been answered.

The country that I live in is not available :(

It also appears to me that your account has to be in the same country as you are. E.g. if you are in the UK you have to enter the 6-digit sort code of a UK bank, while if you are in Germany you have to enter the 8-digit BLZ of a german bank. Note that you can't enter an IBAN here.

Well, at least you can get it by secured express delivery. That's better then before. I know someone in a certain country that hasn't even received their check yet due to an incompetent postal system.

That's not true. I am in Eastern Europe and my bank account is in the US and I easily registered. I think they are showing the check sign up details according to your payment address, not the IP.

Freedom, in the description of the EFT scheme there is mention of a country selection list for the bank account but this list doesn't show up in my payment details. Do you see this list?

On the EFT Beta page it says:

If you are selecting EFT as your payment type, we are unable to guarantee payment for the next payment cycle in this form if your selection was made after the 15th of the month. For example, to ensure payment by EFT for your March earnings, please complete the steps above before April 15th.

Does that mean that if we choose EFT today, we won't get our February earnings until the end of April?

The first sentence says "if your selection was made after the 15th"

The sentence after that says "please complete the steps above before [the] 15th".
