March earnings payment has not been approved

No "April 16th" payment approved in payment history

It seems that everyone else here(majority) got their adsense earnings for last month approved. I on the other hand have not been approved yet. It is starting to worry me. Should I be worried? Last month (february earnings) were approved on March 11th.

Not approved for me either. Not a huge deal. I make less than $1,000 per month and this is a trivial matter for the site. But if I were to commit a significant amount of my inventory to this, I would be hurting. The canned response from the Google humanbot is we pay in 30 days but I've yet to get paid that quickly. It seems like 30 days is the cycle for approving the actual check and then it takes lots of days - perhaps more than a week to get the actual check.

I guess one genius needs to stuff the envelope, another licks it, and another to put a stamp on it. Then somebody has to get the batch to the post office. It would be quicker to send the money by Segway from Nocal to New York. By comparison, my affiliate earnings pretty much get into my account a month ahead of these after the check clears.

Then there was that laugher in January where they told us that because they have to do 1099s, our payments would be held up a couple weeks. Strictly Amateurish. Haven't these folks heard of tax software?

I'm glad I'm not committed to this.

my friend still hasn't been paid and nothing in her account for march as yet .. so that's approximately 45 DAYS now! looks like they've missed another 'deadline' that they told her too ... they emailed her at the end of april saying it would be sorted out in 2 weeks, well it's past two weeks now.

just my luck for having told her how great this program was and yada yada yada.

I just emailed Google and they told me by the end of the month it should get approved.

I can buy a small new car with what they owe me! I never thought Google would play its advertisers like this!

ohh well, the 'divide and conquer' has basically worked, because some of the more influencial members here that normally would have raised hell about something like this are very likely are among the greater % that HAVE been paid for march already, so they haven't bothered to say anything at all on this thread ... so all that's left is a few 'nagging' voices whimpering about having to wait 60 days or more.

The 60 days doesn't bother me. The lack of communication and air of mystery about when they will pay you your money sure does.

I know from past experience that if you don't give employees their checks the morning they expect them, nothing will get done except for talking about what's wrong or when they'll get paid. That in turn leads to bad blood between owner/management and employees - who are often your biggest customers. This really is heading towards a very similar situation.

sandor, i haven't piped in on this thread because i wasn't one of the unlucky ones, but i have felt extremely bad for all of you, and also have been upset that you've all had to wait for so long. i guess i just didn't think those of us who weren't going through it needed to add more fuel to the fire. google's lack of simple customer service in this has been deplorable, and they should be bending over backwards with apologies to all of you.

Just to add to the list of unlucky people, you can count me in. I was watching the "got my check!" threads and noticed that most everyone had their check but me. Then I looked at my Payment Status and noticed that it was never approved. Then I messed up my pants! :)

I got the same e-mail as everyone else ("your account is not in trouble" "we have issues" "will be fixed in two weeks", etc), and the payment was finally approved on the 11th along with many of you. I'm really hoping the check will get here sometime this week...

I'm also hoping that this doesn't somehow push us back for the next month's payment. I'm assuming that we'll all be back on track this month, but I guess we'll find out in a couple days...

A number of us have yet to be approved. Lots of levels of unlucky around here :(

But sadly, there's not much else to say on the topic. Google has remained silent, only emailing those who request information, and even then only form letters void of legitimate information.

My situation is a bit different. I WAS approved on the 16th but no sign of a check. That's over a month and I live a few hours away from New York, which is where they are postmarked from.

I emailed them and DID get a speedy response(canned) telling me that it could take three to four weeks for the check to arrive. I know that if I put a letter in the mail heading to New York, it will most likely arrive in two days.
