After all, I checked for holidays in Germany. Here I discovered the reason, why my stats look like Saturday: tomorrow is a holiday in Germany
I hope the holiday is the reason, why.
I don't like rodeo
Let's rest and take a look at what's going on:
Google's algorithm lately seems to be in the rollercoaster mood. That's all. Period. And we are simply all in denial and try to find explanations for our bad days, right?
I'm going to see my shrink now. :)
I don't get it. What were we all talking about here?
Same reason why Saturday is the worst day of the week.
People have to go shoping for the weekend.
In this month, 1st and 2nd place by earnings are held by Sundays. At Sunday, shops are closed, nobody can go shoping, people have enough time to surf.
So it's not the holiday, it's the last day where You can shop before the holiday, which brings terrible statistics.
Just in case you do not know, most European countries do not have "open all hour" shops, or even extended evening hours, and many do not open on Sundays whatsoever except in tourist areas.
And they wonder just why the Net shops are taking over?
Time for another discussion eh? Last figure I saw was predicting 10% of all retail sales soon.
Once you've been in the business for awhile, you end up scheduling your free time at the same times other people do.
The Trend if your Friend. I'm almost sure this month will be sputtering out hard. We've had a ton of changes in the search index, the month is running out of days. There's a long weekend in the US and a advertisers might be burnt out from bad press concerning clickbots, ad frauds, etc.
As greedy as I am, I might have to admit the stats are heading for a tanking. ;)
Well, I guess you can go the beach (In Germany?).
Aha...definitely not European are you:-))
Only in the north are there beaches however there are some very nice lakes and mountians etc. For Bavarians the Italian beaches are closer for driving.
Anyone else notice much fewer visitors today, Friday May 26th?
go home and open a beer
Yep, I'm going to log-off, take the Husky for a walk and then hit a couple of nice bottles of Ruddles County awaiting me in the fridge:-)
Did anybody else notice a change in 24th May earnings?
Nope, completely normal for me. Even yesterday, Friday, which was looking as though it may not be a very good day ended up normal!
I've come to the conclusion I know nothing, and I haven't known that for very long:-)
