For a website with over 100K static(+SSI) pages, which search solution would you suggest?

We have been using the Google Search, specifically, "AdSense for Search" however, due to the lack of indexing all of the pages and the low income coming through "AfS", We're planning to switch to a built-in engine.

How much server space(as much as the site content?) and power would it require to make this happen? If you know a good solution, I'd appreciate if you could send me the link via sticky mail. Note: It's a UNIX server.

Thank you very much.

I use htdig and then just mess with the output template. It's also possible (and I'd like to do it someday) to have it output to csv and spit it out with PHP.

The space you use is configurable depending on the options you set, but it's quite reasonable.

We're also using ht://Dig [htdig.org]

I found 3 good options. htdig and 2 other, paid solutions. Hoping to solve that issue soon.

Thanks.
