on one hand I can look at it like 4.3.80 but somehow it feels as if that's wrong.. I have no programming background so things like this catch me off guard :)

Yes, they went from 4.3.9 to 4.3.10 then 4.3.11. It is a standard version numbering scheme which means that 4.3.11 is the 11th version of 4.3.
