Windows PHP Freetype

PHP can't find Freetype

I would like to create a Visual confirmation dialog, but
as soon as there is a font invloved in the code, I get no image or a image that can't be displayed.

I have the following installed:
Apache 2.0.54
MySQL 4.0.24
PHP 4.3.11
Freetype 2.1.8

I think it has something to do with PHP being unable to find freetype. Recompilation isn't an option.

sorry, don't know anything about freetype

the home page seems to not work and the last update is 1 yr ago, not really sure what might be the problem

anyone else?
