Do I really need a mod re-write for these pages to rank?

Hi,

My fully php website is indexed fine by google.

The index page and second level pages have a google pr of 3.

They're named index.php, about_us.php, feedback.php etc.

It appears only my pages with? in the URL have a zero PR, although you can search google and find them. (They are in the google index).
I.e. item_cat.php?Cat=BS

It looks like google is penalising the?

Before I go and rename everything, mod re-write etc can anyone else confirm this situation or give advice?

Thanks.

it isn't penalizing it so muh as getting confused, remember regardles of the difference in the params it is actually all the same page

there are a ton of threads around WebmasterWorld about query strings, try this search [google.com]

mod_rewrite is the most common and usually the best solution

and I apologize jezzer300, I physically misplaced this thread for a bit in error, luckily one of the admins was gracious enough to fix it for me.
