Today I was about to add a new mySQL database when I noticed some settings had been changed in my cpanel. In the "access hosts" section a new entry has been created, and I'm not sure what it means. Before I only allowed localhost as an access host, but now there is an entry: 192.168.1.%.

Is this just another way of saying localhost, or could it mean that my account has been compromised by somebody in the 1.% range?

i dont know what the access hosts mean, the hosts who are be allowd to connect to the db?

if yes
192.168.x.x is a local ip range (so or so),
so just people with a ip like that in your home net (LAN) might connect (no people from the internet).
