hello there i am setting up an "anonymous" email form script where the user can send an email from my website
and put in faulse or real details.

im having troble with the headers of the email as im trying to get the "from" (senders email address) to be what ever they like.

as when i enter for example "steve" i get "steve"at"my.nameserver.nzm"
but if i enter steve"at"me.com i will get steve"at"me.com

does any one know how i can get it so instead of having to put the @ in if they just put a single word in the "from" will be that name..

i hope someone understands me.. pm me if you dont and ill give you the address and an example.

thankyou very much ..
and hope you all had a great xmas and new year.

how about pasting just the code where you are constructing your headers. Maybe that will help us understand specifically what the issue is.
