Simple Guestbook like PHP Blog Script

You'd think someone would have made this by now...

Hello all...
All the blog software out there seems to have one huge mistake, they're utterly drenched in a style that takes countless hours to clean out and then the script doesn't work the way one hoped.

My old guest book has the basic idea down pat... I would like to find a PHP blog script that simply writes a users comments TO the same page it's on. My GB would write the code AFTER a marker like this ...

It would be nice to have a quick admin log in to be able to have the script just delete a message or edit the message but nothing fancier then that.

Anyone have a clue where I could find such a simply PHP script?
