That said, there are many free hosts, most of which are not worth the trouble. If you just want to be able to learn php/mysql, install the servers on your own machine. See these threads for more

When you have a functioning site that's worth $5/month, you can find acceptable hobbyist hosting for that price with a quick Google search or merely by actually reading the banner ads that bombard us every day.
