Moving to a host running fastcgi PHP

are there any issues?

My site is currently running on Linux/Apache with mod php. I have the option to move to a host running Redhat on Zeus servers with php running as fastcgi. Unfortunately I know nothing about fastcgi.

Is this a sensible move? Would I have to change anything?

I currently use a php template, includes, etc, and mod_rewrite in htaccess.

Thanks jatar_k

To be honest that's over my head. I have no control over the installation, but am just a user with limited php knowledge. So I won't know what works or what doesn't work until I have made the move.

I was rather hoping for some feedback from someone who had made the move from a php mod host to a fastcgi host - or advice on whether this is something to avoid.
