hello there - 1st time poster here looking for a wee bit of advice on PHP message board scripts - where can I get a nice, simple, free script from. Preferably fully configurable, but easy of use is the main criteria. Would really like to know about php scripts which other users have tried & tested. thanks!

A mate of mine uses T Forum [php.resourceindex.com] which gets good reviews

you may have done this already but try the PHP section of hotscripts.com under "discussion" or whatever. PHP discussion boards seem to be invented very fast. What i would do would be to go to the message board/support section of the site that is hosting a board you are interested in and see what people are saying. I decided to go for a perl solution instead of PHP in the end, but of all I looked at PHP Bulletin Board seemed the best, but there were many simpler ones.
