slow mail script

Hi,

I am using the mail() function to send email to my list, but ive notice it has slowed and it seems to take 1 min per email in a simple foreach loop?

any ideas?

the size of the email list is small, about 1000 emails.

have you thought about doing them in chunks and putting the emails into the bcc field?
