Paging in PHP

I really want to try and learn about 'paging' in php (I think that's what it's called).

I'm looking for a "complete" tutorial that walks you through all of it (from creating a database to displaying the results you want on a page). I haven't been able to find one that explains that yet, or maybe i'm just not looking hard enough.

For example, a news section for a site - I might want say 5 news entries on a page, then the ability to go "back" and see the previous 5 news entries (and maybe another link to display them all in a long list).

Any help (links etc..) that you can give me would be much appreciated!
