3-tier application in php

Hi All,

I am willing the develop the 3-tier application and i have found the solution
But it is using php5, smarty and pear technoloty is it possible to create 3-tier application using in php using php4 not php5 , smarty and pear.

It may be possible to create this 3-tier application with only php and not other extensions, however, what is preventing you from using these extensions? Do you have control of the server? I would first seek options to correctly install these extensions before trying to recode everything.

I have downloaded a tshirt source code which is working in php5 but not working in php4.
