can any one guide me to run php file using apache server, problem is to me how to configure php file on apache server and how to run php file using apache webserver

i have tried using iis but doesn't make any senses

Try using an installer like Wamp or PHP Triad.

There are also a couple of threads in our PHP Forum Library [webmasterworld.com] that discuss PHP and Apache installations. I believe they are both on Windows platforms though. The best place to learn about PHP's configuration directives is to open the php.ini and start reading it. Use the PHP online manual at [php.net...] to learn the details of each directive.
