I've got a web page which includes (<?php include...) another page. Because the title of the page as well as keywords and description tags are put on the second page, they do not appear on the top of the html code (as it usually is on most websites) but somewhere in the middle.

The thing that bother me is will the search engine (e.g. Google) rank such website equally well?

There seems to be nothing wrong in that, yet I have never seen a html source that would have its title in the middle.

Hello..

Here is a nice little article explaining ways of improving google's rank: [webdesign.about.com...]

Hope this helps to answer some of your questions

Eelix thanks for you post and, yes, indeed it's a nice article .Yet I couldn't find there the answer to whether the position of title, description and keyword tags is important as far as SEO is concerned. Does anyone know?

I can't say for sure that it will cause any issues, or that it won't for that matter, but it is definitely wrong.

I think I would find a way to have it in the correct place
