Access Denied

#1045 - Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: NO)

I use easyphp.

I have not set a password for mysql.

I tried setting a password for "one of my database". Subsequently i get the error" #1045 - Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: NO)". What do i do? I even tried deleating the database from www folder and C:\Program Files\EasyPHP1-8\mysql\data

But i still cannot get myphpadmin back.

Please help

set a password for it, then provide both to connect, OR create another user for that databse, with password and use them to connect
