Hi all,

new great dilemma. Is it possible to load different page content according to which search bot is visiting the page?

So if google-bot is visiting the contect becomes text1
while in yahoo-bot the contect becomes text2 (in same page). This scenario expands in 10 search bots <arghhhh>

If the answer is positive (not to mention practical) i would like a link to an article or somethig for more insight info on the subject

Thanks in advance

Yes, but that's cloaking. Your rankings could be at risk doing that.

Ah, the lengths we go through to acheive top results. You'll notice that (if your site is truely relevant) once the engines have ranked you, you'll experience decent results on each. The worst site I have (out of about 40) has a #10 on Google, #14 on Yahoo! and #1 on MSN. I'm still waiting for my latest changes to take effect, however. Just work on your page content and relevancy as a whole, and take care of your backlinks. That way your changes are updated on a more constant basis.

There's really no reason to cheat the system...but the answer to your question is:

Yes, it's possible.
