problem retriving table structure in phpmyadmin

i am currently using a mysql version 3.23.27

and phpmyadmin version 2.6.1-pl3

the problem is this

when ever i goes to retrived table structure then

the following error message apeared
#1064 - You have an error in your SQL syntax near 'FIELDS FROM `article_category`' at line 1
