index.php Slow Loading

I recently moved to a new server. I've noticed that index.php (first page anyone sees) is extremely slow to load. On the old server it loaded fast. The servers have the same specs. What could the issue be?

^^ that the server do not have the same specs or are in another area or that your new server is busyer if u dind change and teh specs are EXACTLY the same they cant make that difference.

I did notice that my domains are in a different location. I'm not sure if there is a difference:

old server:
/home/httpd/vhosts/domain.com/

new server:
/var/www/vhosts/domain.com/
