Search function help.

hi all,
I'm a php newbie and i hope someone can help me with my search which i can't get the expected output. Here is my code.

it display Database Search returned 6 items containing "". while the page is loaded or the "Search" button been clicked.

Have you tried dumping your query to the browser to see if it is a valid statement and if it will indeed return the rows you expect?
