Adding Java Script to a php page?

help needed

I would like to add a java script to my php program...and i want to know how...

Do i have to add it to each php directory....or just the main script......?

any help would be nice thanks

I don't understand exactly what you mean.

You need to add it to each page that you need it on. Either on page or as an external js file.

Lets see....

It is a java script to keep the back ground in the same spot and allow only the text and images scroll....here is the page where i use it but i want to add it to a php program script

when you say main script is it an included file or template that drives every page?

You can add js or html wherever you need to.

All you need to do is drop out of php and then put the other code there.

php stuff
?>

output html, js, css

<?
do more php stuff
?>
