If you don't know you can aggregate all accounts under one MCC, can't recall where the info is but I seem to remember details of Google Adwords Professionals being close to where you put it all together.
This one will need testing but seems a good thing
The MCC in another MCC was clear and I missed it.
Surely the way to do this would be to simply run scripts on the MCCs seperately until it is fixed (if ever).
I know that it is not getting rid of the problem but if you have 10 clients in each of 10 MCCs then you have reduced your workload considerably (and it gives you the opportunity to try 10 slightly different approaches and get an idea of what works best :)
Sorry if my question was unclear, but to my knowledge you can't have an MCC in another MCC. We have clients (agencies) who are MCC accounts and we can't put them in our MCC account because of the aforementioned G rule.
MCCs are set up to be in a hierarchical structure. You can have multiple MCCs inside a single MCC account (the same way it was with the old agency logins).
However, this gives you different dev tokens, and this is where a lot of questions will come in.
If I have 5 different dev tokens, can I combine them if their all linked in one MCC for total actions?
As the MCCs don't show the spend of the other linked MCCs inside it, the algo for actions based on spend doesn't calculate the total value of the linked accounts in any one interface.
Noticed that immediately, as I tried to add another MCC to my MCC. Then I tried to add one of the individual Adwords accounts from another MCC into my MCC, no go there either.
I guess it's going to be adding another field to our DB architecture, to associate the token ID to the correct MCC/AdWords account, for the SOAP calls... :)
This is going to be a fun weekend...
With the old agency logins, you could add another agency login as easily as adding a client.
When G rolled out the MCCs, it was reported as a bug that you couldn't link them automatically, and that the reps had to do it manually. This was suppose to be fixed, haven't tried to add one in a while - guess this is something G really needs to look into now.
I would be nice to get list of all services.
Heh, I think there will be lots of apps developed over the next few days, I would keep your wallet closed while people work out what this is good for - I wouldnt go buying early experiments :O)
As stingy as they're being on the quotas, we're going to have to do everything we can to minimize the number of operations.
The verbage looks fairly clear to me:
Quota & Usage
The AdWords API manages traffic through our quota-based system, which is the set number of operations that a developer can perform per calendar month. Each operation is considered a single action upon your account. For example, requesting the object for a single Ad Group is considered one operation. Updating individual bids on 1,000 keywords equates to 1,000 operations.
As I've said a couple of (hundred!) times in the past, I'm not particularly technical - and won't be effective in answering API Questions myself. So (although I'm guessing that most folks have noticed them already) I just wanted to mention the following resources out loud, at least once:
AdWords API - FAQ
[google.com...]
AdWords API Forum on Google Groups
[groups-beta.google.com...]
AWA

Reading some of the notes and then I caught something neat. Webmaster World gets a link from G
and there's not even a "nofollow" on that link ;)
What has my attention immediately is the php example for
estimating traffic for a keyword [google.com] (and CPC!)
