[adwords.google.com...]Google Advertising Professionals consists of three main components:
- My Client Center : With this tool, they can manage their own accounts, as well as those of their clients.
- Learning Center: Includes dozens of self-paced training lessons that give
instruction on the most up-to-date AdWords information...
- Logo: Google Advertising Professionals also offers participants the
ability to become a Qualified Google Advertising Professional.
Designed for professionals who currently manage or want to manage multiple AdWords client accounts, the Google Advertising Professionals programme can help you become a more successful ad manager – for free.

took your time Google :)
Shak
The MCC looks identical, except for the extra tab where you need to pass a test. I don't see any additional tools or customization in this account login compared to the others.
I think more people will try the test just for the logo(as the use of Google's logo can be an arduous process) as much as people will try it for the tools (If you pass, you can use a 'google professional logo').
This does coincide nicely with Google moving to Agency Reps: [webmasterworld.com...] . I was assigned my new agency rep yesterday.
I think there are several overly general answers that lead people to adopting the wrong stance on a few items.
The first one I think really needs adjusting:
'What is the fastest way to increase your CTR?'
Answer: Increase max CPC.
Incorrect: Add matching options.
I've found that in many instances the other answers such as 'Change keyword matching options' can give a much quicker boost to CTR than just increasing max CPC. If there are other people bidding the max CPC, then adjusting yours does nothing. This is a case by case basis - and not a 'global' answer.
Some of the answers are short term responses, and not long term results.
While others are kinda iffy. 'Billing information can be edited at any time', isn't always correct. To be nitpicky, it can be edited within the account at any time;however, billing information can't be edited while inside the MCC.
This feels like a college test where the answers are what the professor wants, and aren't necessarliy correct.

I love the idea. I think this will only be the beginning of some type of "Seal of Approval" for 3rd parties running Adwords campaigns! I want my shiny google badge too!
And eWhisper, it is always the best students that disagree with the questions/answers. Good for you.
Google's embracement of agencies has been the most frustrating part of a wonderful experience in selling Google.
We look forward towards continue progress towards agency discounts and open APIs.
Can't wait to get everyone certified- thanks for help in employee training.
What took you so long:)
Come on Google, what happened to your proofreaders? :)
As an example, in the Advanced Conversion Statistics quiz there is a question that says:
"An advertiser sells chocolates with Google AdWords. Given the conversion data below, what is the minimum amount that she must charge to earn a profit from sales on these keywords?"
A screenshot shows conversion cost for 2 campaigns.
A. $1.75
B. $10.00
C. $16.75
D. $18.25
Answer = Without knowing
(i)the client's cost base
(ii)whether they expect to make a straight profit on the first sale as opposed to looking at lifetime value of a customer
who can tell?

yay, and I dont even use conversion tracking that much and got a few question that had me going "huh" :S
Some of the questions are a little obscure and may have more than one correct answer.
I don't think posting questions or dumping full tests is a good thing to do or the qualification will be devalued within weeks so maybe it would be prudent to not post anymore, however as a WebmasterWorld newbie please correct/spank me if I am wrong
PS: Shak, yeah Sadly I did wash my hand after shaking Matt's hand but seems all the google listings luck ran off with it too :(
...especially since his Bicycle got a puncture yesterday on the way home :)
Heheh! Shak, you're just uncanny.
But riddle me this Batman! Let's see just how good those cams are...
* Which tire, front or rear?
* What is the make and color?
I've been taking the professional quizzes, and I have to really disagree with a few answers.
I think there are several overly general answers that lead people to adopting the wrong stance on a few items...Some of the answers are short term responses, and not long term results.
Please, please, please take a mo, and send us feedback using the 'Give Feedback" link on the lesson pages.
You folks are exactly the sort of advertisers from whom we'd like feedback - and you can really have an impact in improving this program over time.
Hmmm.. their Learning quizzes are a bit dodgy - already spotted a few spelling mistakes, and both of the middle two in "Troubleshooting" are broken (if you get the first 2 questions right, you are marked down as having got them wrong), plus another one that comes up saying "Incorrect!" when it's actually right...Come on Google, what happened to your proofreaders? :)
Please see above. ;) Don't forget to mention where you found the errors!
Some of these questions are unanswerable - multiple choice where they are all wrong....
Please see above.
Just passed mine :)
WOW!
Oh, and by the way, did I mention that your specific feedback is welcomed? The more specific the better, if you've spotted a problem. ;)

After joining the program one hour ago I have noticed when trying to log into my AdSense account now it says:
No AdSense Account
An AdSense account does not exist for this login, as you have not yet completed an application. If you are using your AdWords login, you can create an AdSense account with the same login.
What is wrong?

[adwords.google.com...] from [google.com...]
"Mein Kunden center" tab should be "Mein Kundencenter"
"Andere Registerkarten anzeigen?" should be "Suchen Sie die anderen Registerkarten?"
And some other stuff, but I'm sure you have some germans that can also help. ;)
I can't get over how clumbsy & limited OV's admin/reporting functionality is compared to AdWords - in particular the need to create seperate account for different markets. What a pain.
Good on you Google.
