Glad I got my certificate before you guys broke it :)

Say, do we get any fancy initials to put after our name :) Sanenet, Q.G.A.P.?

Test takers should get an email receipt. This is a business expense for us.

There are several questions on the test that were not, IMHO, well constructed. Hope thise get fixed soon. I gave specific feedback on them.

Currently, I have a professional account. My analysts also have MCC accounts which are linked to my account (I don't have to log out to get to any client's info, but they can only view their own clients).

If they become professionals, does that mean that these accounts still can't be linked under one master account?

eWhisper, I'll get back to you with an answer on this one soon. Good question!

Trying to get into Learning Center. Server errors.

server errors galore in learning centre.

I have a client that I would like to have them have access with their own password BUT getting invalid address errors.

I've been forwarding these comments - and will continue to do so.

Say, do we get any fancy initials to put after our name :) Sanenet, Q.G.A.P.?

Sanenet, I like it!

Excellent point. Adding it to feedback report now.

Thanks for leaving specific feedback, cline. I know feedback is being received from the links since I've heard about it from several folks, and I know it is much appreciated. ;)

>> The 'fix' then, would be to add sales+client@domain.com to your MCM center, instead of sales@domain.com. <<

I had already tried this (tried again just now). Receive "incorrect email" error.

>> I'll continue to look into this one, but it might be a good idea to contact AdWords support directly. <<

I did -- but all told, all of my clients together still don't spend $10k a month, so I'll probably never get a reply.

Lovethecoast, engineering just pinged me, and asked me if I knew the account(s) involved, which I don't of course. They'd like to take a closer look at this, and see if a solution can be arrived at.

Any chance you could write in from within the account, using the 'Contact Us' link - and give us a brief rundown if there are more details than you've reported here?

In the subject line, in all caps, please put ATTN: ADWORDS ADVISOR PER ENGINEERING REQUEST.

I'll keep an eye out for it, and forward it the engineering folks ASAP, and see what we can come up with.

Many thanks!

Passed! Very happy :)

I Agree with ThomasB: some questions are very specific for US users (or Asian users). On the other hand: European agencies may want to serve US customers and any client may want to advertise in any language.

I think the time limit is a real problem for non native speakers (as it was for me).

AWA, has this program officially been anounced in all countries? I can hardly find any info apart from this forum and I certainly didn't get any email anouncements.

Wahoo! I passed :) albeit just Bit upset that G are not willing to backdate the spend/time period requirements so that we can have our fancy logos straight away!

I wish it was backdated as well to reward the advertisers that have spent enough money over the last 2 years.

I think the test could have avoided the questions about the user interface and admin functions and focused more on the strategy and theory relating to effective ad creation and effective budget management.

Oh well, an extra credential for my list.

It's indeed a bit annoying to have to wait 90 days. It's certainly not beneficial for the QGAPs. I don't see how it is beneficial for Google, either.

Now that Adwords has a bunch of data from people who've taken the test, one of Google's statisticians should be brought in to do a little elementary psychometrics. I'm pretty sure that you'll find several -- I predict around 4-9 -- questions that fail to positively correlate with the overall test results. It's called an "internal validity" test, and any question that fails to pass it should be replaced or eliminated.

I can understand why Adwords would not want to let test takers know what questions they got wrong, as this would allow easier reverse engineering of the test, however, since the test has subsections, it would be nice to provide test takers with scores for each section as well as an overall score, to give a hint to the test taker where they need to study harder.

Lovethecoast, please look for a reply to your recent email - a few more details are requested.

These are both excellent points, which I'll certainly pass on. Please don't forget those feedback links on the site, either. :)

AWA,

There is absulutely NO time to make comments during the test as the time is so tight (less than 1 minute per question) so the feedback at the end of the test will never be very in depth. I had remarks for 10 questions or more bat can't recall them clearly enough for a feeback.

Some questions seem to say: oh, this is what google wants to hear, which devaluates the test. Better to change those, or at least make it less obvious by changing the other answers. I've also seen a question about foreign languages for which I still can't find the answer anywhere on the internet, including Adwords FAQ, learning center etc.

If you have two different MCC accounts, and want to keep them seperate for various reasons, do you need to take the test for both of them, or can you take the test for one and ask your rep to apply the test score to the 2nd account?

Test was quite difficult for a non-english person. I'm glad I passed anyway :-)

90-days delay was very disappointing thing indeed.

I have to concur, 90 days ONLY makes sense if you're trying to lure in brand new small business advertisers and essentially force them to buy $1000 worth of clicks over 3 months. For people spending over $1000/day, it's a long, painful wait. :(

Also passed. I agree with eWhisper that some questions are kinda flacky and open to other answers but with 90 minutes U do not have much time for feedback along the way.

I missed "real" optimization questions regarding landing page and multi ad test stuff. It is more a "do you know Google's policies" test than a "Do you know how to get the most out of an account" type of test but anyway it is a start.

The 90 days wait is stupid as my clients spend the 1000$ very quick as well.

Oh NO! I really hate united in disappointment. Let me ping the team behind the program, and find out what typical timing is.

Back soon.

So seriously do we get to use the initials GAP or QGAP after one's name..

Hell.. I earned the darn thing yes?

All in all, good system..liked the testing interface, some questions where dodgy and probably "culturally biased" but I think this has helped improve my Adwords skills.

Can't wait to get my badge ;)

Small improval tip: show sub accounts below their ** MMC-account in "Jump to clients".

Stupid question: why are all accounts listed twice under "jump to client"?

The top 5 listings are the most recently accessed clients list.

Those under ** start your entire cient list.
