I'm putting together a series manufacturer pages on my site. One of the pages is for a manufacturer with a name like "Acme and Widget." The manufacturer produces 79 models, and I have a link to a page for each model, with the words "Acme and Widget" before the model name.

By themselves, the words "Acme" and "Widget" account for 12% each of the number of words on the page. However, if the words "Acme and Widget" are taken together, they account for nearly 40% of the words on the page.

Would this be considered spamming?

Thanks for any replies.

I have sites with this same issue and some do very well and others do very poorly. My gut says its too much, but the link text going to the sub page could actually be somewhat helpful and pull the sub page up especially if it is something real specific like Acme 6457 Concrete Mixing Machine.

If you come up high for these sub terms then maybe it's worth sacrificing the category page?
