Why are these odd terms given so much weight in WT?

It is obvious that many word counts in Overture are inflated either due to rank checkers, or internal OV algorithms (I tend to believe it is both of the above), but I am mystified at some of the results I received lately in Wordtracker.

WT is returning actual search queries from both Metacrawler and Dogpile, but I find it hard to believe that a term such as "walk the dog gjks893" is actually typed in 10-20 times over a 60 day period.

There seems to be a large number of these odd "one-offs" turning up in normal results. These are terms that no one in their right mind would pay to advertise, or much less ping the se's for rank checking.

Anyone have any ideas as to why these unique phrases are turning up in large numbers as commonly searched terms?
