Hello

I don't know if it is appropriate to put an url to the site so first I would like to ask.
Could anyone tell me what else besides link exchange could be done to position my site better for one of the words.
If this the forum I would post the url to the site.

Thank you in advance

Hi Voyteck,

Indeed, posting URL is not allowed in this forum. There are plenty of other forums where you can post your URL to get feedback.

They are plenty of post on how to improve your ranking especially in the Google News forum. I learn a lot here so do some search and read the posts. A short summary of what I have read in different posts :
1/ Use some h1 and h2 tags in your header with keywords entagged.
2/ Repeat keywords in the title, header and in the text (in a different order is better)
3/ Use meta description and keywords and try to have a different one for every page (it is here that php is nice). Make a short list of keywords - the most pertinent.
4/ Same with titles (which should have your keywords by the way)
5/ Lot of crosslinking (20 per pages) - here, a subdomain can help also
7/ Make simple page (low in weight and with content - if you page are long, you'd better split them)
8/ Have content content and content and lot of pages.

There is a very good post from an administrator on how to get good ranking in Google. Sorry I do not have the page in favorites but it is very interesting.

Thanks for the comments.

I think I did most of the things, however I do compete in the web positioning area besides other ones.

So maybe if you could take a look I could send an email some how with the url to the page, or maybe others to take a look. For lerning purposes am interested in help on positioning only for two phrases.

Thank you in advance.

Regards

The post is Successful Site in 12 Months with Google Alone [webmasterworld.com], still probably the best introduction to SEO for all engines, not merely Google.
