Hello all,

If to type keywords in a META tag both in lowercase and uppercase (i.e. "arizona, ARIZONA, Arizona"), whether it will give any advantages and disadvantages?

Hi there :)
I don't think case of a word matters as it would be quite senseless for everyone to have 100+ keywords in all combinations of case. I do all mine in lower case and think thats the best way.

Given that the majority of the engines ignore (or at least give very little weight to) the keywords metatag, all you would end up doing is wasting twice as much space as you would if you just listed the keywords once - a reasonable number of the people here don't bother with it anymore except for a few rare cases.

Assuming that an engine did pay attention to the keywords metatag then I'd expect them to be treated as case-insensitive terms to overcome the uppercase lowercase issues you are talking about, therefore I'd say go with lower-case unless there is a common format to the word as in most cases people enter their search terms in lower-case only.
