Hi, I am new here and like most other new people (I've been browsing the forums a bit), this looks like quite an amazing community, and I cant wait to jump in and start learning.

This might seem a little bit of an easy question, but I am developing a website where our targeted keywords are about small business who need a web-designer. Now how imperative is content in something like this? I am thinking the website is only about 15 pages long, will I run into problems optomizing if the site is only 15 pages long?

Welcome to WebmasterWorld, tnrstudios.

One good rule of thumb is that it is really a very big advantage to have MANY keywords to attract visitors. And if you want to be competitive on many keywords you need many pages ( = content!).

Study your logs and see which keywords your visitors use to find you. In my own logs I often find words that I had used without thinking about their usefullness as keywords. That may be an inspiration to write a new page that is optimised for such a word.
