Wordtracker vs. Overture term suggestion tool

What's the difference?

Often times I'll get drastically different results when researching keyword frequency (how many times a term was searched for) using workdtracker vs. Overture's term suggestion tool. I mean one tool says its been searched for 10 times over the last 60 days and the other tool says its been searched for 300 times over the last 30 days. Does anyone know why these are so different and is one more accurate than the other?

I'm not familiar with Wordtracker, but Ov treats singular an plural terms as the same, which could make a huge difference.

I think there is some thing more behind this difference. Since if you add singular and plural results from word tracker still it wont match the overture figures.

Could possibly be that the sources Wordtracker uses for gathering their query data are from very different from what data information Overture receives from their partners. One would think that they should not have that much of a difference between the two.

A good benefit I do like is that by comparing the results from both is a great way to uncover new keywords! :)
