When you adding keywords to a page should i change them at certain times and how many is too many. I was told that if i add to many keywords it will thin out my ranking, is this true?

Not really, just create your page so that it will be readable to your visitors BUT also try to add a few keywords into your content.

eg. Here at mywebsite you can my keyword and keyword for sale blah blah.

Its not too hard really!

Dont worry too much about keyword density, as long as you have it in their once or twice, the other things that really matter like anchor text will get you the rankings.

Link text - The text used to describe a link can also affect your rankings. These three links all point to the same URL but use different text:

Yourwebsite.com
Your Keywords

Search engines' spiders figure that any words other sites use to describe your site are particularly relevant. So, if lots of sites linking to you use keywords in their link text, search engines will boost your ranking for those keywords.
