Hi,

I was looking on Google for the search term 'increase traffic' and the first page (http://www.internet-advertising-marketing-manual.com/ ! :-> ) caught my eye.

Just look at the source of this page and you will notice that the meta keywords are not separated by comma's. Their keywords are : increase traffic Free internet advertising marketing internet advertising web site Google pagerank popularity rankings ranking.

If you look at their customers on webuildpages.com the same technique is used for all the sites they built : lots of keywords without comma's (and once in a while a hyphen).

The best thing is that most of their customers are in the top 10 in Google for some difficult keywords like marketing, SEO, ... (Just check it out on [webuildpages.com...]

Would this be their secret? :-> They are asking a few 1000 bucks for this :->

By the way, I was wondering if it is good idea to fetch the top 10 results from inventory.overture.com for a specific keyword (via a script) and put these as your keywords on your site ... dynamically. So if the top 10 on overture changes, the meta keywords on your site will also change. Does somebody have experience with this?

Most SEs (including Google) ignore the meta keywords. So my free advice: look for keywords in title, anchor text, and check the inbound links on AlltheWeb.

Association does not imply causation.

I was wearing a yellow shirt the day the MSBlaster worm infected my computer. So, for the safety of my computer, I should never again wear a yellow shirt ;)

A quick look at the sites above you in the SERPSs sems to lead many people to that kind of conclusion. Google takes over 100 factors into account while weighing a page. The fact that there is one obvious difference betwen the site above you and yours does not, without careful analysis, reveal anything.

In case you are curious, I still occasionally wear my yellow shirt while computing. But now I install all MS critical updates!
