Welcome to WebmasterWorld, firetrap.

I'm not 100% clear on your question -- are you creating a keywords field to automatically populate the keywords meta tag of an HTML page? If so, the decision about what words the keywords should be can't be automated very well, it takes a human decision somewhere along the line.

However, the meta tag is not used by most search engines today, and many high ranking pages in competitive areas don't use it. So if you have too many pages to do by hand, then you might just skip ithe keywords meta tag and see how things go.

If I;ve misunderstood, please explain a bit more, and we'll see if we can help.

Firetrap,
If you might be having a db issue, on automatically updating the row for your keywords, then the question might be better asked in Microsoft .net and asp related, if its either a sql server or access.

If I understand right, you are looking for a program that would populate it for you. In short I don't think that there is a program that will, I have had to enter that data in manually.

Umm I do not know which way you are doing key words but if it's for your site I can help you. Go to <snip> and go to html tutorials and go to meta tags then she tells you how to put in the key words you want. Dunno if this helped sorry if it didn't; but I was a little confused with your question. And if you don't want to have to keep typing it in on each page go to <snip> (if they paid for their bandwitdh. if not go to <snip>) and go to tutorials and then to SSI. Follow their directions. If you can't get to their page and you went to <snip> go to PHP and go to the tutorial that says "Easy Layout Changing With Include + PHP Intro." that will help you a lot! well I tried.
