I'm building a family web site that covers a web range of topics and am trying to develop 150 descriptions for each page (which is the easy part).
But, the hard part is the home page itself. The site has 6 main topic areas but several other standalone pages that make it quite difficult to create a simple 150 description that suites the site. What should I do?

Major search engines don't use this tag anymore. Same with the keywords meta. If it is a Flash site with no other content then it may be used, but won't be weighted at all.
