How find a keyword in the content of a website?
Do you know a strong tool which could make it for a research for one keyword in many websites in the same time?

Hi Hasfa,

You can do this in google using the "site:" feature, e.g

site:www.webmasterworld.com widgets

If you have the google toolbar you can locate the words in the pages by cliclking the searchd for words on the toolbar.

Ok, I know where one keyword is located in the pages of one website, but I would like to know if I can do that for a selection of many websites in a same time to compare the density of one keyword between different websites.

Hafsa,

try Copernic, if you have specific terms in mind, the tool will drill many search engines, to find instances of top ranking sites, with the maost often ranked floating to the top.

If your thinking sporadic offshout terms, then Wordtracker is a useful tool for finding terms that are related in weird and wonderful ways to thought off KW's.

Another is Position Tech, which keeps a list of all terms inputted into any of its partners sites, that your site was listed for and then clicked open.

A few different things to look at. hope this helps.

Thank you for your help. I will see for all these tools, but before I would ask you (I hope you have time!) if one of these tools could inform me :

of the density of one keyword for each website selected with a percentage or the exact number of occurences in the whole content of each website,

of the pages where the keyword is integrated for each website?

Hafsa,

it sounds very bespoke what your asking, but if you know the KW, then google's toolbar, with highlighting ON, can show locations of KW's.

Regarding Density > try Damien's tool, i think its the best on the internet by far.
