For non-competitive keywords a generalized dynamic text may get you a good SERP (depending on your PR). But for highly compeditive keywords, a generalized aproach will not get you on page #1.
When you use dynamically generated “generalized” text you also have the problem that your pages might be considered to have duplicate content - and duplicate content is a big no-no for Google.
