Overture tool/google

I rank #2 and #3 for a keyword that according to the overture tool is queries 200,000 times per month..Sicnde the update I'm getting a dissappointing 1000 a day from it..I would have thought much higher. My description falls completely within the catagory and is intriguing..Is this tool just way off..i use it like crazy but i dont know if its even correct

The Overture tool can overestimate searches, particularly if the keyword has multiple SEOs doing automated position checking across multiple engines. Each automated query gets reported as a separate search, so each search gets multiplied by each Overture client. Combine that with bozos who check their position every hour, and the numbers can be really wacky. I've seen totally unique search strings (e.g., 5 word searches with two words misspelled) with thousands of searches in a month - clearly the work of just one individual.

Yes i've see that alot..Google adwords used to have another tool that would give you volume for given terms but i dodnt thinks its available anymore. Do you know of another tool that is maybe more accurate than the overture tool?
